The Oil Pressure Sensor on the Ducati engines is a known weak spot. They often fail and lead to the dreaded oil pressure light - you will often find that the internal seal has gone and oil will be inside the connector!
These replacements are equivalent to Ducati part number 53940302A and are used on just about every Ducati engine with a few exceptions - check yours to see if it is the same or your parts list for the part number.
